Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update: 13/03/2020

“Because the WBC is still almost eight months away, my gut is that we will be fine and the competition will go on as planned. I understand that you will continue to get calls of concern from participants but my suggestion is to remind them that time is on our side in this. If we get a few more months in and still have significant concerns, we will address them, certainly, but we’d be foolish to decide today that we know what things will be like months from now.

Visit Sacramento continues to urge a fact-based response to coronavirus. As of today, the California Department of Public Health says the risk in California remains low. Residents and visitors should follow proper hygiene practices, just as they would with the seasonal flu or other contagious illnesses.”
